Blossoms
That flutter down
Littering the fields
Cherry, pink, white colour this scene
Springtime

Freefall
A rumbling sound
As the stones lose their grip
causing a rush of air and Earth.
A thud.

Bright light
Fluttering wings,
A butterfly's grace but
A hidden poison within it,
Traitor.

Saturated ground
Leap around the mossy rock
Death lying above

Bittersweet cawing
A cacophony of sounds
Flocks fleeing southwards.
